Rent the Baby Lock Crown Jewel Quilt Frame
Now you can complete the quilting on your projects from baby to king size quilts!
The Baby Lock Crown Jewel Quilt Frame is availble to rent both during and outside of store hours. Before your first rental appointment, you are required to attend a class on the setup and use of the Crown Jewel. The cost of the class is $40 and includes a coupon to receive a set of zippers and a package of bobbins for $30 (regularly $36.98).
Rental of the frame is $12/hour (minimum three hours). Reservations can be made by stopping in to Rae-Bon Sewing Center. Your first rental must occur within two weeks of completion of Introduction to Quilting on the Crown Jewel.

| How much does it cost to rent the Quilt Frame? | Quilt frame rental is $12/hour with a minimum rental time of three hours. You may rent for additional time in one hour blocks.
| | What do I need to bring to Rae-Bon when I rent the quilt frame? | The zippers must be attached to your quilt ahead of time. If they are not, your rental time will be used to do so.
Your backing and batting must be ready to go. Both backing and batting must be 12" larger than your quilt. For example, if your quilt top is 45" x 60", your batting and backing must be 57" x 72". If you need to seam your backing or batting, the seams must be pressed open.
Special Crown Jewel bobbins must be purchased from Rae-Bon for use on the Crown Jewel. Once your purchase a pack of bobbins, these may be used for future frame rentals.
| | What type of thread may be used with the Quilt Frame? | Thread must be purchased at Rae-Bon Sewing Center to ensure the quality used in the machine. All quilting thread sold at Rae-Bon is made to stand up to the speed of the Crown Jewel.
| | How can I reserve a time slot on the Quilt Frame? | Prior to renting a time slot on the quilt frame, you must enroll in Introduction to Quilting on the Crown Jewel. The cost of the class is $40 and frequently offered throughout the month. Check the sidepanel for dates and times. The class includes information on how to thread the machine, loading a quilt, and operating the machine. The frame must be rented within two weeks of completing Introduction to Quilting on the Crown Jewel.
Reservations can be made at Rae-Bon Sewing Center. When you make your reservation, you will be required to sign a rental agreement and supply your credit card information. Your card will not be charged until you arrive for your reservation or in the event you fail to cancel with 48 hours notice.
